Looking at the “new energy passenger vehicle subsidy program” that has the greatest relevance to the public, subsidy levels are divided based on the vehicle’s cruising range. NEDC models with a cruising range of less than 300 kilometers are the same as last year. No subsidies.

If the cruising range is between 300 kilometers and 400 kilometers, the upper limit of bicycle subsidy is 9,100 yuan; if the cruising range is ≥ 400 kilometers, the upper limit of bicycle subsidy is 12,600 yuan. However, the final subsidy amount for pure electric vehicles must also have a subsidy upper limit * battery system energy density adjustment coefficient and vehicle energy consumption adjustment coefficient.

Plug-in hybrid vehicles require a pure electric range of NEDC of more than 50 kilometers, and the bicycle subsidy amount is 4,800 yuan. Moreover, both new energy models require a bicycle price of less than 300,000 yuan. Battery-swap models, such as NIO, are not subject to the 300,000 yuan limit.

It is worth noting that the 2022 new energy vehicle purchase subsidy policy will terminate on December 31, 2022, and vehicles registered after December 31, 2022 will no longer be given subsidies.

This also means that next year, the new energy vehicle promotion subsidy policy that has been implemented in China for more than 10 years will be completely terminated next year. By then, new energy vehicles in the Chinese market will also There will be "real-life" competition.
