The "Technical Specifications for Water Transportation and Communication Engineering" (hereinafter referred to as the "Specifications") is now released. The "Specifications" are recommended industry standards for water transportation engineering construction. The standard code is JTS/T 194-2023 and will be effective from September 1, 2023. "Coast station overall and process design specifications" (JTJ/T 341-96), "Port area wired telephone communication system engineering design specifications" (JTJ/T 343-96) and "VHF coast station engineering design specifications" (JTJ /T 345-99) are abolished at the same time.
The "Specifications" are managed and interpreted by the Water Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Transport. Consultation on specific usage issues during the implementation process is handled by the editor-in-chief Beijing Jinjiao Planning and Design Co., Ltd. replied. The text of the "Specifications" can be queried and downloaded from the "Water Transport Engineering Industry Standards" column of the Water Transport Construction Comprehensive Management Information System on the government website of the Ministry of Transport.
