According to media reports on July 2, the Wushi 23-5 oil field development project was successfully put into operation on July 1. This is my country’s first offshore all-round green design oil field and the first offshore oil field shore power project in the Beibu Gulf.
It is reported that the project is a "six-station-in-one" crude oil processing station, liquefied natural gas station, liquefied petroleum gas station, production water station, substation, and 5G base station, with zero discharge of production water in the entire process. , becoming a new model for green development of China’s offshore oil fields.
The Wushi 23-5 oilfield development project located in the Beibu Gulf waters faced the challenge of an average water depth of about 28 meters. Two high-efficiency wellhead platforms were successfully built and the Wushi The land terminal has been fully upgraded and expanded.
The project has planned a production blueprint for 43 development wells, including 28 oil production wells and 15 water injection wells, focusing on the extraction of light crude oil, showing a high degree of specialization and forward-looking.
Regarding the production water and associated natural gas that are inevitably produced during oil field production, the Wushi 23-5 oilfield group has demonstrated excellent environmental protection concepts and technical strength.
The project has specially set up an advanced production water treatment station, using a continuous four-stage high-efficiency treatment process to ensure that the oily sewage produced by the upstream platform meets strict water injection standards after treatment, and then all Safe reinjection into the formation achieves complete recycling and zero discharge of production water resources, minimizing the impact on the environment.
In addition, the project is also equipped with an integrated natural gas processing system and storage tank facilities, achieving in-depth conversion and efficient utilization of associated gas.
The associated natural gas has not only been successfully converted into two high-value products, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), but has also been exported through a complete storage and loading system. It further enhances the economic and environmental benefits of the project and demonstrates my country's outstanding achievements and innovation capabilities in the field of green development of marine energy.
